re: Northrend Beasts (1st Boss in ToC)

This fight contains 4 bosses 2 of which you fight together for a total of 3 phases.

1st Phase: Gormok the Impaler Abilities:
Staggering Stomp:
Deals a staggering stomp that inflicts 9263 to 9737 Physical damage to all enemies within 15 yards and interrupts spellcasting for 8 seconds.
50000 yd range, 0.5 sec cast 6
Impale:
Inflicts 150% of weapon damage to an enemy and causes it to bleed for 3500 to 4500 damage per application every 2 sec. for 30 sec.
10 yd range, Instant

In this fight tank tanks him in middle of room with OT by his side ready to taunt. The tanks should never let impale reach more then 4 stacks, taunting off eachother at 3 stacks.

You also need to watch for the staggering stomp as its just like flame jets on Ignus.

Strategy:
Adds seem to randomly spawn and leap to a ranged sometimes iterruapting casting or silencing. The ranged needs to focus fire on these adds untill they all die. The adds also throw fire at a player. If someone is in the fire they need to immediately stop casing and move out as 2 ticks is enough to kill a clothy. Once all the add are down there will be no more fire and you can continue on the boss.

Other then that seems like a basic tank and spank with nothing to much to worry about.


2nd Phase: Acidmaw Abilities
Paralytic Bite
Inflicts 12950 to 15050 Nature damage on an enemy and injects them with a paralytic toxin.
5 yd range, Instant
Paralytic Spray
Sprays acid at an enemy and nearby targets, dealing 8325 to 9675 Nature damage and applying a debilitating paralytic toxin.
100 yd range, 1.1 sec cast
Acidic Spew
Deals 2775 to 3225 Nature damage per 0.25 sec. to enemies in front of the caster.
100 yd range, Instant
Slime Pool Inflicts 5088 to 5912 Nature damage to enemy targets within the Poison Cloud.
Instant
Dreadscale Abilities
Burning Bite
Inflicts 11100 to 12900 Fire damage to an enemy and coats them with burning bile.
5 yd range, Instant
Burning Spray
Sprays fluid at an enemy and nearby targets, dealing 8325 to 9675 Fire damage and coating them with burning bile.
100 yd range, 1.1 sec cast
Fire Spit
Deals 9250 to 10750 Fire damage to an enemy.
100 yd range, 1.1 sec cast
Molten Spew
Deals 3700 to 4300 Fire damage per 0.25 sec. to enemies in front of the caster.
100 yd range, Instant

Strategy:
So lets start with Acidmaw.
He will be tanked semi close to Dreadscale and facing away from the raid. This boss does alot of nature damage so a nature resist totem will help along with alot of cleansing. This boss should be killed first.

Dreadscale on other hand does alot of fire damage so fire resist sure will be of help. He will be tanked facing away from the raid as well and semi close to Acidmaw wile he he still alive.

Every once in a while they will burrow in the ground for a lil bit in which the tank needs to be ready to pick them back up quickly. They do not need to go down at same time but once Acidmaw is dead Dreadscale will enrage. This is easy to heal through and should not be worried about.


3rd & Final Phase: Icehowl Abilities:

Ferocious Butt
Delivers a ferocious headbutt to an enemy, inflicting 69375 to 80625 Physical damage and stunning for 3 sec. 8 yd range, Instant
Arctic Breath
An icy breath that freezes targets in a cone in front of the caster, inflicting 20000 Frost damage over 5 sec. 100 yd range, Channeled
Massive Crash
Leaps into the air and crashes down with massive force, dealing 11000 Physical damage to all enemies, stunning them, and knocking them back. 1 sec cast
Whirl
Whirls around, dealing 9250 to 10750 Physical damage to all nearby enemies and knocking them back. 15 yd range, Instant
Frothing Rage
Increases Physical damage and attack speed by 50%.
Instant

Strategy:
He will need to be tanked in middle of room.
Everyone need to be spred out all around him as he does arctic breath which is same thing as the trash mobs going to hodir.

He will also do whirl which hits and knocks everyone in 15yrds back in which tank will need to rush back in to pick him up and reposition him in middle of room again.

He will also do massive crash which hits everyone and sends them flying to wall. He will then target a random member and does Ferocious Butt which he will jump furthest side away from you then charge. You just move after stun wares off . When you move he will it the wall and stun imself for about 10 seconds in which everyone needs to burn him down.

If you dont move he will:
1) one shot you
2 )will gain a buff called Frothing Rage (Increases Physical damage and attack speed by 50%).

Rinse and repeat tanks just got to make sure to keep him in middle.

These fights shouldn't be too hard for us.

We'll just need practice on them that's all.

Most are rehashes and combination of other raid bosses.
