Professions and why you chose them.
Profession 1:
My first profession is mining which I recently chose as a way to make myself some gold but I lost the motivation to finish it.
Profession 2:
I just took Jewel crafting up and I plan on leveling it for epic gem cuts which would highly benefit my gear.
Glyphs
Major Glyphs and why you chose them over others.:
Glyph of Devestate: as it is an ability prot warriors use all the time and I want to get more stacks of sunder armor up faster to do more damage with devestate.
Glyph of Blocking: (soon to be Replacing Glyph of Revenge) as shield slam is a major ability I use and the extra block is valuable.
Glyph of Cleaving: I chose this glyph because it adds an extra target to my cleave ability which helps me get agro on a larger number of mobs
Minor Glyphs and why you chose them over others.:
Glyph of Charge: Charge is a great way to maneuver around in a battle and the extra 5 yards could be the difference between grabbing a mob in time or not.
Glyph of Command: This is a buff I usually give out and the longer duration gives me more time to build rage to rebuff it.
Glyph of Bloodrage: This glyph makes bloodrage cost no health so I can use this ability to gain extra rage without putting more stress on the healers by damaging myself.
Raid Experience
How long have you been raiding as the Class/Spec you are applying for?:
I have been playing a warrior since the launch of wotlk and I've been raiding in protection spec since I've hit 80 doing Naxx, Ulduar and some TotC.
Do you understand the mechanics for every fight in Ulduar?:
I understand most of the fights in ulduar except for the fights in the antechamber but I have had experience in these battles but have not been able to complete them in the raid groups I've been in. I've attempted mimiron and only gotten to the last phase and I have not done General Vezax and on. However I have read strategies and watched videos explaining these fights.
If you were unclear about a specific fight, where would you go to look it up?:
I would go to either wowwiki, wowhead or mmo-champion.

Why should we pick you and not someone else?:
You should pick me because I know the class I play and can learn and adapt to to anything you throw at me. I want to progress with my character and have a lot fun experiencing new fights and overcoming them.
We have more than 25 raiders in the guild and from time to time need to swap people out depending on the boss. How would you feel about that?:
Being a warrior and not having as many threat building aoe abilities as other tanks I've had experience being switched out with another tank to take down a boss so this is fine with me.
We understand sometimes people cannot make it to a raid or will be late. If this were to happen would you know in advance to be able to post it on the forums?:
I would more than likely be able to tell you of any plans I have that interfere with raiding times except for things like freak accidents that I had no idea were coming.

I'd gladly change my spec to dps, but I lack the gear necessary to be competent at dpsing as well as the experience.

I'm willing to give you a chance because we are in need of Tanks, but I'm not in te mood for hanging on to baddies just so they dont get butt hurt. If you fuckin suck you're gone.
