The application submitted by tactishian is as follows:

Quote:
About your character

Current Realm:
Gorefiend

Name of character applying?:
Tactishian

Race?:
Tauren

Class?:
Druid

Spec you are applying as?:
Feral (DPS)

Are you willing to change your spec to whatever the guild needs?:
Yes

Current/Previous Guild:
Vex

Please provide a link to your character in the armory.:

Professions and why you chose them.

Profession 1:
Jewlcrafting

Reasons why I chose JCing:
-I had JCing prior to the nerf, which allowed the Dragon's eye cuts to take any the color of any gem.
-42 extra agility via Dragon's eye cuts.
-Make money selling gems.

Profession 2:
Leatherworking

Reasons why I chose LWing:
-130 Attk power enchant to bracers.
-Make money with leg enchants

Glyphs and why you chose them.

Major Glyphs:
Glyph of Rip
-Chose this because Rip is a major part of feral dps, and that extra 4 seconds on Rip's duration makes my rotation much easier.

Glyph of Savage Roar
- Savage roar is the most important priority when it comes to feral DPS, and that extra 3% dmg is a huge increase. Making savage roar an increase of 33%

Glyph of Shred
- Shred is my filling spell to obtain combo points. And the glyph increases my Rips duration by 2 seconds, which stacks up to 3 times.

Minor Glyphs:
Druids do not have many minor glyphs, and of the ones we do have, none are really extremely important.

Glyph of Dash
- More dashes during a fight, means I can do more dps on bosses I have to run to. Eg: Yogg

Glyph of Unburdened Rebirth
- No longer have to carry the mats for this spell, which means more bag space.

Glyph of Thorns
-Cant complain about a 60 minute thorns.

Raid Experience

How long have you been raiding as the Class/Spec you are applying for?:
I have been raiding as a Feral druid since Ulduar came out. I have not looked back, I love feral druids, love the hard complex rotations.

Do you understand the mechanics for every fight in Ulduar?:
Yes, I have done every encounter in ulduar, except for Algalon. The guild I am currently in is working on Mimron Hardmode at the moment.

If you were unclear about a specific fight, where would you go to look it up?:
I use a couple different resources. Tankspot, Youtube,

Raid Scheduling

What timezone do you play in::
Pacific

How many hours do you play per week::
30

Can u make a 6:30pm - 10:30pm server raid time on Tues, Wed, Thurs and Sun every week?:
Yes

Misc:

Age::
21

Do you have a good computer with a stable internet connection?:
Yes

If your game crashed during a raid how long would it take you to log back in?:
1-2 min

Do you have Ventrilo?:
Yes

Do you have a working mic?:
Yes

Any WWS report of you::
No

Why should we pick you and not someone else?:
I understand that dps classes come a dime a dozen, and you probably get a ton of apps. What separates me from them, is my dedication, loyalty, hard work, and my knowledge.

I know alot about feral druids, their specs, rotations, itemization, basically anything and everything about them. I can help any feral druids you may currently have, or pick up in the future.

We have more than 25 raiders in the guild and from time to time need to swap people out depending on the boss. How would you feel about that?:
All good raid guilds need to do this. Certain fights require different raid setups. Also, if player absolutelyd oes not need loot of a certain boss, I see nothign wrong with having them sit out.

So yes, I feel perfectly fine with it.

We understand sometimes people cannot make it to a raid or will be late. If this were to happen would you know in advance to be able to post it on the forums?:
Yes, I am currently a student at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. I have a somewhat busy schedule, which will get busier as the year progresses. I will always post If i cannot make a raid as soon as I find out.
I know that I would hate it if someone didn't show up

Is there anything else you would like to tell us before you submit your application?:
I play this game to have fun, Its not my life. Im no the type to start conflicts, am very laid back, but when the raids start I don't fool around. Above all, I am good at this game.

I attended blizzcon this past year (2009) and plan to go every year now, so I may get to meet some of you in real life, which will make the guild bond stronger.
